3rd times the charm and worth the wait......
Third times the charm is so true.... This was the 3rd time that I have seen U2 and it was the Best one yet, even better that seeing them in Vegas. It was worth the year wait. When Nick, bought the tickets last year and bought GA tickets I was kind of disappointed I wanted a real seat and did not want to stand the entire time. Then a day before the concert I had training down in salt lake I did a drive by and saw the "Claw" and was so excited I could not believe that after a year of waiting it was here. Then I go home and watch the news and see that GA ticket holders were camping out to get the best spot. I Was frustrated that I would not be close to Bono but at least I would be there and hear him. We got to the U around 5:30 and there was hardly anyone on the floor. we were right behind the guardrail on the other side of the red zone 8 feet away form Bono, I could not believe it. We went with our good friends April and Trent so it made the U2 experience even better. April is a U2 junkie as well. In my own personal view I am so glad that we waited because they played lots of older songs, were as if we would have seen the show last year they would have promoted the new album (not that the new album was not good.) It was almost like a best of show and that April and Trent were able to go with us. It After the show I had to get Live at the Rose Bowl DVD, it brought back all the memories, I did not want to buy it before the show I did not want to spoil any of the show. The show at the U was better since I was there and only 8 feet away. Nick, is not a fan of concerts and just went since I wanted to go, I told him a U2 concert is not like any other concert and with this one being a stadium tour it will be like nothing that you have ever seen. He is now a believer, and will be sure not to miss the next time Bono and the boys come to town. I am now glad the we got GA tickets. To bad so sad for those that paid $$$ and were not as close as we were. The only thing about having a seat would have been to see the claw with all the lights, but being right under it was epic and the is what the DVD is for.

Pre-School Graduation

I can't believe that Pre-School is all over. Addison is growing up, now it is on to kindergarten. Graduation was at the cold trout springs trout farm, and man was it cold!!!! we all had blankets and sat in the wind and rain. After the program the rain has stopped for a little while and Addison got to catch her fish. I made this cute block to give to her teacher for being such a great pre-school teacher.
